Benjamin Blood is a certified Adult Developmental Specialist in the state of Idaho, with more than 250 hours of paraprofessional training. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. Additionally, he completed certification for Speech Language Pathology from Idaho State University in 2017, and he is in the process of receiving a second Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Utah State University. Ben currently works as Odyssey’s Administrator and oversees all supports and services for the company.
Ben is a native Oregonian transplanted to Idaho. In his free time, he enjoys classic video games, completing home improvement projects (he just bought a new house!) and spending time with friends and family. Ben is married, with two young children. In 2015, Ben’s son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which sparked a desire to help others in the DD community.
Jamie started working with individuals with disabilities her first year out of high school and has been involved in the field ever since. She started working in various day programs where she enjoyed connecting with the individuals and seeing them progress. After obtaining her bachelor's degree, at BYU Idaho, she secured a position as a QIDP in Utah, and began pursuing her master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She currently oversees the 24 hour services of our high and intense support clients.
Jamie grew up in Idaho and enjoys being able to work in the area again. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her husband, playing the piano, and spending time with her son and daughter.
Emily graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies, with an emphasis in communications and sociology from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2015. While attending university, Emily worked as an internal marketing specialist, with a focus on employee retention, for a local multi-million dollar company. Following graduation, Emily went back to school to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and currently has her Certified Nursing Assistant license. Emily is originally from Washington State, but has lived in Eastern Idaho for the past 10+ years. Emily enjoys pottery, gardening, watching comedies, and spending time with family and friends. Emily has been married for more than eight years and has a six-year-old son. In 2012, Emily’s son was born with a severe brain bleed and later diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since then, Emily has been working to continually advocate for her son, as well as support others in the DD community.
Taylor Gallup started working in residential habilitation in 2013 when he came home from serving a mission in Farmington, New Mexico. When he started in res-hab, he worked in the homes with the participants, then in 2014, he became a House Coordinator. In 2015, Taylor became a Program Coordinator before coming to Odyssey in May 2017. Currently, he works as the Financial Manager.
Taylor is a native Idahoan and grew up in Rigby. He attended Rigby High School and graduated in 2011. He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
In his free time, Taylor enjoys being outdoors, seeing movies, watching football, and spending time with his wife.
