Benjamin

Benjamin Blood

Administrator

Benjamin Blood is a certified Adult Developmental Specialist in the state of Idaho, with more than 250 hours of paraprofessional training. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. Additionally, he completed certification for Speech Language Pathology from Idaho State University in 2017, and received a second Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Utah State University in 2019. He is currently enrolled at Arizona State University, getting a Master's Degree in Social Work. Ben currently works as Odyssey’s Administrator and oversees all supports and services for the company.

Ben is a native Oregonian transplanted to Idaho. In his free time, he enjoys classic video games, completing home improvement projects and spending time with friends and family. Ben is married, with two young children. In 2015, Ben’s son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which sparked a desire to help others in the DD community.

Emily Collins

Emily Collins

Human Resources

Emily Collins graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies, with an emphasis in communications and sociology from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2015. While attending university, Emily worked as an internal marketing specialist, with a focus on employee retention, for a local multi-million dollar company. Following graduation, Emily went back to school to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and currently has her Certified Nursing Assistant license. 

Emily is originally from Washington State, but has lived in Eastern Idaho for the past 10+ years. Emily enjoys pottery, gardening, watching comedies, and spending time with family and friends. In 2012, Emily’s son was born with a severe brain bleed and later diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since then, Emily has been working to continually advocate for her son, as well as support others in the DD community.

Taylor Gallup

Financial Manager

Taylor Gallup started working in residential habilitation in 2013. In 2014, he became a House Coordinator, and In 2015, Taylor became a Program Coordinator before coming to Odyssey in May 2017. Currently, he works as the Financial Manager. 

Taylor is a native Idahoan and grew up in Rigby. He attended Rigby High School and graduated in 2011. He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Idaho. In his free time, Taylor enjoys being outdoors, seeing movies, watching football, and spending time with his wife.
